BETA-ALANINE
Beta-alanine is an amino acid that makes carnosine, a substance in your muscles that buffers muscle acid buildup. This acid buildup contributes to muscle fatigue. By consuming beta-alanine, you produce more carnosine. By producing more carnosine, your muscles will last longer so you can push yourself harder. 

Numerous studies indicate that beta-alanine is especially effective at improving performance during intense exercise bouts, making it ideal for high intensity interval training (HIIT) and anaerobic training, which are a major component in many Beachbody programs. 

LOW-DOSE CAFFEINE(from green tea)
Caffeine is an accepted component of the training and competition arsenal for athletes throughout the world, with studies showing benefits to athletes ranging from recreational to elite, in a variety of settings, including running, cycling, and various team sports. 

This is because low-dose caffeine has been shown to be ergogenic, meaning it can help: enhance energy, improve reaction time, mental acuity and focus, and reduce fatigue. Studies point to it working via the central nervous system, delivering signals in your brain that give you both a mental and physical boost. 

QUERCETIN
Quercetin is a phytonutrient that’s drawn attention lately for its ability to help improve exercise performance and recovery. It is believed to work by increasing the production of mitochondria—the “powerhouses” of our cells. 

Exercise studies by leading exercise physiology-nutrition laboratories have shown that quercetin helps improve performance and fitness in healthy people. Research has shown it can also benefit elite athletes, including ultramarathon runners and cyclists.

 
HYDRATE 
During Workout (citrus flavor) 


Water alone during exercise isn’t the most effective way to hydrate. The body flourishes with an optimal balance of carbohydrates, electrolytes, and water. This balance is known as the fluid’s osmolality. 

Osmosis is a process by which a solvent (such as water) passes through a semipermeable membrane (such as your gut lining) from a less concentrated solution into a more concentrated one, in order to equalize the concentrations. If your hydration source is hypertonic and filled with sugar, it is more concentrated than your blood, so it may absorb slowly or even dehydrate you. Most commonly known sports drinks are hypertonic due to high sugar content. A hypotonic hydration source is less concentrated and will therefore absorb faster into your blood. Hydrate is slightly hypotonic, assuring rapid fluid absorption and ushering its electrolyte content, while aiding the body’s fluid balance. 

When you exercise, you sweat—even if you don’t notice since it’s evaporating. And when you sweat, you lose water and electrolytes. In normal situations, we lose about half a gallon to a gallon of water per day. In highly active situations, we can lose in excess of 3 gallons. When used as recommended, Hydrate has been specifically formulated to account for your sweat losses during intense exercise, helping to improve exercise effectiveness and recovery. 


RECOVER

Consuming the right nutrients after a training session is the most effective way to help improve your recovery. Recover does this by providing the proper proteins and phytonutrients to help facilitate muscle recovery and repair while helping reduce the exercise-induced catabolic response (muscle breakdown). Its key ingredients are shown to help support muscle glycogen recovery while managing exercise-induced muscle soreness. 

A PROPRIETARY BLEND OF PROTEINS 
Consuming 20 grams of high-quality protein immediately following a workout has been shown to be key in enabling muscle recovery and repair. By providing 20 grams of fast-, intermediate-, and slow-release proteins (whey isolate, pea, and micellar casein protein, respectively), Recover assures you have a sustained supply of amino acids, the components of protein that serve as your body’s building blocks.

When you push your muscles to the point that they don’t have sufficient oxygen (your anaerobic threshold), your muscles rely on a substance called phosphocreatine to generate adenosine triphosphate, or ATP, for energy. Once you run out of phosphocreatine, your energy stores can be depleted, and when that happens, it can be your last rep, like it or not. Supplementing with Creatine can help increase your muscle creatine and phosphocreatine levels so that you can turn that last rep into your second- or third-to-last rep, and get more out of your workout.
