Although I'm not doing the 21 Day Fix right now, I saw my containers and figured I'd give them a little loving! :) I will NEVER forget when I opened my 21 Day Fix box all excited and then I saw ALL of the containers in like a 6 inch space. I had that jaw dropping, holy crap moment. Literally, they looked WAY bigger on my phone when I was ordering my very first challenge pack. So after I got over the initial shock and got through my "I'm going to starve phase" while washing them I realized how big they actually were.
I will never forget my first day attempting to eat out of them. I literally force fed myself my morning snack, lunch, and ate a super late lunch! Those little guys hold way more than they look!!!! Below is what I ate for my lunch today. I was cleaning out my freezer yesterday and found some extra lean ground beef. I haven't had ground beef in a VERY long time (I'm on a huge ground turkey kick) so I decided to make it up and added some hot sauce to it and a little bit of 21 Day Fix Southwest Seasoning with my twist on it. I think made some small brussel sprouts (also found in the freezer). The 21 Day Fix calls for 5 medium sprouts. I had baby so I ate 10 instead :) I wanted something on my rice, meat, and brussel sprouts so I decided to use 1/2 of my blue container of cheese. A full container would have been WAY too much believe it or not!
Below you will see a picture of everything that is actually on my plate. These are Rachel Ray plates so I almost always use my small ones because they are huge! They probably have a 8 inch diameter to them and because they have sides to them, you can literally go right to the edge with the food.
Plus, when you eat off of a small plate, you can trick your eyes and stomach into thinking you are actually eating more than what you really are! :) I call that a win, win! :)
