3 Day Refresh Results Are Here!

So, if you follow my Instagram (@lykallas) you pretty much saw my food for three days straight. Sorry, that was probably annoying, BUT it held me accountable. There were times that I didn't want to eat anything, but I knew I had to in order to stay on track and see results. There was a night that I couldn't finish my food though, I was just too full.

First thing is first, the results... I lost a little over 3 pounds in 3 days (3.2 to be exact). I weighed myself Tuesday morning (typically when I weigh the least) and then Thursday night (typically when I weigh the most) and I was STILL 3 pounds lighter. If you look at the pictures below, I wore the same pair of jeans. I put the jeans on for the picture and then tossed them on my dryer so I would wear the same pair. If you notice in the pictures on the left, Memorial Day got the best of me. I have what I like to call my mini muffin top or food baby! If you notice in the picture on the right, my pants aren't sucking me in like a sausage and I can actually breathe.

Okay, now what you want to know... did I starve? Heck no! I was extremely full the entire time. I also had a ton of energy which surprised me. I still drank at least half my body weight in ounces of water. There are tea options and I only drank tea once and I didn't even finish it. I made this quick cheat sheet to refer to while I was at school so I didn't have to keep opening the guide to refer to what I needed to be doing.

I switched up my breakfast so my fruit wouldn't go bad. Each day I had a different fruit for breakfast. I had pineapple, watermelon, and red raspberries. In addition to my fruit, I had a shaker of Chocolate Vegan Shakeology which was DELICIOUS with just water.

There is a mid-morning fiber sweep that I was dreading. The first time I attempted the refresh, I chickened out and got scared of the sweep, but this time around, I learned my lessons. When you mix it, don't let it sit. Just drink it! Also, I came to the conclusion this round (that was I actually successful with) that it reminded me of cream of wheat texture wise. It wasn't too shabby as I was reliving my childhood :)

This was my favorite lunch. I had cucumbers with avocado, 3 day refresh, and 12, yes 12, medium strawberries! Delicious! You can add stevia in the refresh, but I prefer my strawberries plain.

Typically, my snacks were cut up tomatoes and cucumbers with avocado. This was enough to fill me up and give me energy to push through my day. I also had baby carrots and green beans one day.

I'm a creature of habit when it comes to my food. If I like something, I tend to not stray far from it. My dinner all three nights looked EXACTLY the same. I had coconut steamed veggies, vanilla refresh, and organic chicken broth with parsley. The chicken broth is one of my favorite go-to's. I'm a HUGE soup lover (I got that from my grandma) so it is not only very relaxing, but if you notice, I have it in a to-go cup. I can drink my dinner on the run. If I can multitask, I can!

During the refresh, you don't want to do any sort of crazy workout. I did the 21 Day Fix workouts because I knew that my body could handle it and it wasn't something crazy out of my schedule.

All in all, the refresh wasn't actually bad. I think it is going to be a monthly thing for me. If you notice, some of the challenge packs are "kick start". This contains a refresh for you! I wasn't changing my habits at all.
