Bring on the Ultimate Reset

Bikini season is coming QUICKLY. Let me tell you, my sweet tooth is OUT OF CONTROL right now. I have been drinking 2 shakes a day AND making Shakeology ice cream... My solution to post holiday bloat AND to my horrible sweet teeth-- the Ultimate Reset. I have tried this before, and I pretty much failed miserably. I wasn't as prepared as I thought I was, I was trying it on my own, I didn't realize that I could substitute foods that I didn't like. (The salmon almost put me over the edge.. I was NOT aware that salmon comes with scales on it!)

This time going in, I have a partner in crime! It honestly didn't take much effort to convince her that we should do this, but we shall see how it goes. The fact that you are not supposed to workout or have caffeine will be my downfalls.

Below is our meal plan for the first week. We are able to switch breakfasts for breakfasts, lunches for lunches, and dinners for dinners. We have opted to drink Shakeology for our snack (we are allowed full scoops for the first two weeks and then we are allowed a half scoop the third week).

Week 1 is a Reclaim week:
During the first seven days, we begin altering our diet by slowly removing foods like red meat and diary that put stress on our digestive systems and push our bodies toward an acidic state. We will be introducing our bodies to four of the six supplements that will be used on the Reset: Power Greens, Soothe, Mineralize, and Optimize.

During the first week, we will rehydrate our body and reactive sluggish cell function while we shift our body's pH back towards a healthier, alkaline state, and away from any excess acidity that can weaken our body's functions.

Once the week is over, our bodies will be primed, balanced, and strengthened on a cellular level. It will be primed to continue the process of releasing accumulated toxins.

Tonight, I will be getting the groceries and tomorrow, since I don't have school tomorrow, I will be prep the meals for the week. Stay tuned for week 1 updates and week 2 meal plan.
