Example Meal Plan

With summer just around the corner, I need to do some serious discipline with my nutrition. Since BBOD (Beachbody On Demand) has released, I have had some seriously workout ADD. Time to crack down and get to business. I have really been trying to lay off my chicken salads (MY FAVORITE), but I miss them terribly! So they are coming back on my meal plans! I don't have them every day, but I do have them on there. I could have been a rabbit for as much salad that I eat. (Now, if someone else makes me a salad, it's 1,000 times better!)

On my meal plan, I also have some oatmeal with berries and egg salad on English muffins for breakfast. Typically, I drink my Shakes for breakfast; however, I'm trying to mix it up some! I'm going to use my shakes as a mid morning snack to get me through the day.

I planned some meals for Friday, but I'm not sure how well I'll be able to stick to it since I'll be on a field trip all day and night with my student council kids. But I'm hoping I'll be good with packed snacks!

My grocery list is made and ready to be purchased. My workout clothes are laid out for the week. My mind is mentally ready to roll. I ALWAYS tell my challengers that this is a mental challenge more than a physical challenge for me. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to trying to skip something. I mentally have to prepare myself to workout because if I'm not in a proper mindset, I won't get the most out of my time.

Some days are hard. Some days are not as hard. My nutrition is honestly what I struggle with. I have SO many temptations all around me that my mind takes over and makes me want to give into temptation.
