Oh. My. Gosh. Last weekend, my sister made me a snack before I left her house and it was so simple and it completely inspired this pizza. She had some pomegranate peeled and she cut up a pear and mixed them together. While I was sitting making my meal plan, I started thinking and I found a recipe that had goat cheese in it.
We sat and talked and we decided that goat cheese, pomegranate, and pears would be AMAZING together. On my way home, I stopped at a Walmart and couldn't find goat cheese, but I did find this cheese that had some cranberries in them.
So what you'll need:
- Flat Wrap tortilla
- Goat Cheese (I chose the Wensleydale Cheese with Cranberry)
- a pear
- 1/2 a pomegranate
- honey
First, you'll start by laying out your flat wrap and drizzling some honey on it. Using a spoon, carefully smooth the honey over the tortilla. Don't go too fast or push too hard or you will rip the tortilla.
Next, you'll cut up your cheese and you'll sprinkle it over your tortilla. I used my blue 21 Day Fix container to portion out my cheese. I always seem to drown my pizza in cheese and this was the PERFECT amount.
Cut up your pear and distribute it all over your tortilla. Try to cover as much of it as you can. Peel your pomegranate. I used about half on my pizza. You could use as much or as little as you wanted really.
Finally, Bake your pizza at 350 Degrees for 10 minutes. You will notice that your pears will go from green to brown in the oven. This is okay! Watch your flat wrap to make sure it doesn't burn!
Take it out, let it cool just a bit and enjoy!
