I'm a New Challenger Again!

So this past weekend, I challenged all of my coaches to pick a program and complete it to a T. This means, no cheating. no skipping workouts, meal planning like your life depends on it, and giving it your all for an entire program. I picked the 21 Day Fix for my program. This was the FIRST program that I have ever completed. I love the containers and the workouts are all 30 minutes or less. The first week, I won't put 10 minutes abs in until probably Wednesday since I haven't done it in a while. You will get fresh before and afters after I finsih this program.

The beginning of the school year took over my life. I fell off the train, hardcore. I need this accountability to get me back into shape before I complete Core De Force. The 21 Day Fix is a 3 week program that will take me right up to the release of our new program so it was an easy decision.

I'm starting the week with the 3 Day Refresh. I have planned it out so I will be eating Strawberries for my fruit and a mix of tomatoes and cucumbers for my veggie. I have selected almond butter for my healthy fat since I will be using it in my oatmeal throughout the week. I'll be making a veggie stir-fry for dinner for each week; however, I'm waiting until tomorrow to cook the veggies. They are all prepped and ready to be cooked!

Once I finish the 3 Day Refresh, I have planned the rest of my week out using the Countdown to Competition Meal Plan that comes with the 21 Day Fix Extreme. On my Countdown to Competition days my meals will look similar to this:

Breakfast:  Steel Cut Oatmeal
Snack:  Shakeology & Broccoli
Lunch:  Cucumber & Tomato Salad & Taco Meat
Dinner:  Beef & Butternut Squash Stew
Snack:  Greek Yogurt & Cottage Cheese & Turkey

Where as, on my normal days, my meals will look like this:

Breakfast:  Steel Cut Oatmeal with Almond Butter
Snack:  Strawberries with Almond Butter
Lunch:  Cucumber & Tomato Salad & Taco Meat
Dinner:  Beef & Butternut Squash Stew
Snack:  Strawberries with Greek Yogurt

As you can see, my meals are simple, but they fit my plan. I will do the workouts and track everything through my Instagram (@lykallas) and on my like page (Lindsay Kallas - One Day at a Time).
